Kelly over at Kelly's Korner is hosting a 'Show Us Where You Live Friday' with this week focusing on the Guest Bedroom. Since I do not have a guest bedroom, when we have guests the kids give up their bedrooms and end up camping out on the kid's den floor so I am going to show you our kids den. You can click here and here to see my other entries. This room is still in the works (yes, its been two years since we finished remodeling and moved in but I'm getting to it). This is where the kids 'entertain' with movies, PlayStation and games and such. I plan to buy to club chairs instead of those games chairs they are using now but they seem to like those just fine.
I designed this bookshelf from one similar that I saw in Pottery Barn Kids and Hubby built it for a third of the price! A little paint and some stain and it is the perfect place for books, trophies, pictures and such.
This is my favorite part of their den. I love to take pictures and I love black and whites.
Thanks for stopping by for a tour and if you ever come for a visit, you will get a bed! The kids think its cool to sleep on the floor!!!
